With the shame performance by Top level batsman India draw first test match against Australia.

Sachin Tendulkar’s dogged innings of 49 out helped India inch closer to a draw against Australia on day five of the first Test at the M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore on Monday.

Chasing a challenging target of 299 in a minimum of 83 overs, India reached 130 for three in 48 overs to put themselves in a good position to escape with a draw.

VVS Laxman was unbeaten on 28 from 75 deliveries as the two senior batsmen were involved in a cautious 53-run partnership for the fourth wicket that ate up more than 21 overs.

India were in trouble early when they lost the wickets of Virender Sehwag (6) and Rahul Dravid (5) in the first session.

But Tendulkar brought all his experience into play to rescue India as he stitched a 53-run partnership for the third wicket with Gautam Gambhir, who made 29.

Earlier, Australia batted for 32 minutes on the fifth and final day, adding 35 runs in five overs, before declaring their second innings on 228 for six in 73 overs.

Morning session: (76 runs, 3 wickets, 22 overs)

Anil Kumble started proceedings for India and could have taken a wicket immediately, but he dropped a return off the first ball. Haddin mistimed a drive which went straight back to Kumble, who floored and also injured his finger in the process.

Shane Watson then showed his intent with a couple of boundaries and Kumble and Ishant Sharma, before he was dismissed by the latter. The Aussie all-rounder, who made 41 from 72 deliveries, tried to hit Ishant across the line but got an inside edge, which crashed into his stumps.

Cameron White also looked to attack the moment he came in. He drove Ishant for a boundary through the off-side he faced as Australia looked for some quick runs in the morning as India spread the field.

The visitors batted for 32 minutes on the fifth and final day, adding 35 runs in five overs, before declaring their second innings on 228 for six in 73 overs.

Brad Haddin was unbeaten on 35 from 61 deliveries, with three boundaries, while Cameron White was not out on 18 from 14 deliveries, including two boundaries.

Harbhajan Singh took two for 76 in 27 overs, while Zaheer Khan claimed one for 46 in 17 overs.

Anil Kumble disappointed in his last Test match at his home ground as he finished wicketless in both the innings for a match tally of 160 runs in 51 overs.

(India innings)

This was a real chance for India to score an unlikely victory after Australia opted for a sporting declaration.

All depended on the start they got because once the ball gets old, it is very difficult to get the scoreboard moving on this slow pitches.

India openers Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir look to get on with things early on as both started with boundaries.

Sehwag (5) got a lifeline early when wicketkeeper Hadding dropped him while diving to the right after the batsman got a regulation edge off Brett Lee.

However, Sehwag could not make the most of it as he fell in the very next over for 6. He tried to play Stuart Clark on the leg side but the ball swung enough to beat the shot and take the back of the bat, which went to first slip in the sixth over of the innings.

Rahul Dravid got off the mark with a classical straight drive off Lee in the seventh over of the innings.

But he did not stay on for long, falling to Lee after scoring just five.

The right-hander tried to flick Lee on the leg side, but was caught brilliantly by Ponting diving to his right at short midwicket to leave India in trouble at 24 for two in the ninth over.

Gambhir survived a close stumping chance off Clark, but the third umpire ruled in favour of the batsman in a very close decision.

Sachin Tendulkar made a cautious start but then looked to raise the tempo with a couple of boundaries in Mitchell Johnson’s first over.

India’s hopes would now depend on veteran Tendulkar, who also has the chance to break Brian Lara’s world record for most Test runs.

Tendulkar is currently 48 runs short of Brian Lara’s aggregate of 11953 runs.

At this venue, only two teams out of nine have successfully chased down a target in the fourth innings, the highest being 195 for 2 by Australia in 1998.

Post lunch session: (89 runs, 1 wicket, 31 overs)

India played out a few quite overs after the break till Gambhir broke the shackles with boundaries in consecutive overs off Mitchell Johnson and Michael Clarke.

Johnson had his revenge soon after when he shattered Gambhir’s stumps with a fast yorker.

The left-hander’s long vigil at the crease ended for 29 that included four boundaries in 81 deliveries.

Debutant leg spinner Cameron White came on to bowl in the 36th over to replace part-timer Clarke was not making much of an impact.

He immediately forced Tendulkar to drive at a wide one, which he edged, but fortunately it went over the slip region.

Tendulkar seemed to have learnt from that mistake and after that just concentrated on playing it safe.

VVS Laxman also weathered the initial storm from the pacers before looking at ease against the spinners.

Laxman loosened up before the tea break as he creamed a few boundaries of the two spinners. He hit White for two boundaries in the final over before to bring up the 50-run partnership for the fifth wicket with Tendulkar.

Tendulkar showed great maturity to keep the bowlers at bay as he reached 47 not out with four boundaries in 111 deliveries. Laxman also looked quite comfortable having reached 28 from 75 deliveries, having hit four boundaries.

The hosts need 169 runs in a minimum of 35 overs with seven wickets in hand, but it seems unlikely they would go for the target. Australia still have time in their hand and a few quick wickets after tea could work in their favour.

UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi’s proposed dream Rail Coach Factory in Rae Bareli received a huge setback today, as Mayawati government in Uttar Pradesh has cancelled the allotment of land for the factory. Sonia Gandhi and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav were scheduled to inaugurate the land for the Rail Coach Factory on October 14.

The Uttar Pradesh government had earlier given 189.25 hectare of land for the factory in Rae Bareli on May 19, when BSP and Congress were on good terms. The situation has changed now, as the Congress has joined hands with Mulayam Singh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party. Mayawati had tried her best to topple the UPA government during the recent trust vote in Lok Sabha. While cancelling the land allotment, the UPA government has attributed it to the resentment among the farmers and law and order problems.

The communal clashes that had erupted in Bhainsa town of Adilabad district of Andhra Pradesh on October 10, took an ugly turn, as six persons of a family, were charred to death in Watoli (Vatoli) village, 13-km from Bhainsla. The Andhra Pradesh government has ordered a judicial inquiry into the incident and also sought a CBI probe. The judicial probe will cover the loss of lives and destruction of property in Bhainsla and then the gruesome burning of six people in Watoli. According to police sources, violence in Bhainsla erupted during the immersion procession of Goddess Durga.

Just after the joint press conference held by Ratan Tata and Narendra Modi, people came to streets and started distributing sweets to each other. They also bursted crackers. It was a Diwali in Gujarat.

Of course, it was a proud moment for Gujarat. The Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) burst crackers worth Rs 1 lakh and distributed sweets to mark this historic occasion.

The Chharodi village in Sanand, which is the site for new Nano Plant witnessed celebrations across the night. Jubilant villagers danced to the tunes of drum-beating, played Holi and burst fire-crackers to welcome Nano. Unilke the Singur farmers, farmers in Chharodi believe that they will gain good land deals as well as better employment opportunities. They think about growth and development, not POLITICS. Is Mamata Banerjee watching???

Former Captain Laxmi Indira Panda struggled for six decades to get the status of a freedom fighter
Truly said, recognition comes only after death. Former Captain of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army (INA), Laxmi Indira Panda struggled for six decades to get the status of a freedom fighter. She finally got it on death bed. When she received the status, she had already slipped into coma following a brain stroke. What an irony!

The 83-year-old Laxmi Indira Panda, who passed away in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, had joined Netaji’s INA, but could not provide any jail record to get the freedom fighter status. Laxmi Indira Panda belonged to Jeypore in Orissa’s Koraput district. Despite being a freedom fighter, she was overlooked by the authorities and did not receive any help from the government. She was even forced to work as a domestic help to earn a living.

In August 2008, Laxmi Indira Panda met President Pratibha Patil in New Delhi and narrated her story to her. President Pratibha Patil acted immediately to honour Panda by giving her the freedom fighter status and also sanctioned a pension. But it was too late. The President’s office oversaw her treatment in AIIMS.

Laxmi Indira Panda’s body was brought back to Bhubaneswar in a special plane arranged by the central government. Her body was received by Orissa Governor MC Bhandare. Captain Laxmi Indira Panda was cremated at the Satyanagar crematory in Bhubaneswar with full state honour. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who offered floral tributes to departed soul, announced that a statue of Laxmi Indira Panda will be installed in her hometown Jeypore.

Actually congress Always hated other Freedom fighters, who didn’t a member of congress or not belongs to congress. Every one knows that Netaji, Bhagat Singh, Chandarshekhar aajad is well known freedom fighter but still they didn’t get More respect. Time is stronger than any one. Jab Histry phir se likha jayega tab Congress or uske chamchon ko iska khamiyaja bhugatana padega. Kyon ki samay bahut balwan hai or iske aage achhe achhon ko apni aukaat pata lagi hai. Congress ke ek ex-President Kisri khuddi kurane ke jurm main jail gaya or aajadi ke baad freedom fighter ban gaya or yanha jo log aajadi ki ladai main mare gaye ya bach bhi gaye o aaj bhi sanghars kar rahe hain is congress ki sarkaar ke khilaf.

Monica Bedi is returning to Big Boss house as a wild card entry
In a dramatic development, Monica Bedi is returning to Big Boss house as a wild card entry. She was chosen over Rakhi, Alina and Sambhavana by the viewers across India and other parts of the world. Monica will formally enter the Big Boss house tomorrow. Monica’s entry has made the show more interesting and exciting.

The Big Boss 2 has become dirtier with housemates turning against each other. Rahul Mahajan and Raja Choudhury were considered as the strongest candidates among all housemates. However, Diana Hayden who made a late entry into the Big Boss house, has emerged as a strong contender to win the crown.

Diana is slowly, but strongly increasing her hold over the weak and soft candidates like Devojit, Zulfi and a few others. She maintained a distance from Rahul in a bid to thwart his game plan. However, Monica Bedi’s re-entry into Big Boss 2 will change the atmosphere. It would be interesting to see how the housemates react when Monica Bedi sets her feet inside the house tomorrow.

On the auspicious day of Durga Ashtami, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi scored a major victory, as Tata Motors shifted their dream Nano Car project to Gujarat. It was announced in a joint press conference held by Tata Motors Chairman Ratan Tata and Gujarat CM Narendra Modi. Modi termed the day as historic for Gujarat and people of India, as Nano finally got a place it deserved.

Ratan Tata expressed satisfaction over the deal and said it was as good or slighly better that what they got in Singur. “We are happy to set up the Nano plant in Gujarat. All Singur costs will be retrieved, no big loss on book”, said Ratan Tata. The Nano plant will be set up at Sanand near Ahmedabad. According to Ratan Tata, the plant will have a capacity of 2.5 – 3.5 lakh Nano cars per year in the first phase. “It is a special day for us, as we had a bitter experience in West Bengal”, said Ratan Tata.

According to Narendra Modi, Tatas will buy the land at the current market value. “We have opened a new chapter in partnership with Tatas”, said a victorious Modi. The industry has expressed huge relief over the deal signed between Tatas and Gujarat. Narendra Modi, who has already taken Gujarat to the zenith of its growth and development, has been hailed as a industry-friendly Chief Minister.

Proving people speculations right, India’s successful test skipper Sourav Ganguly announced his retirement from cricket. Ganguly dropped the bombshell today, by saying he would say good bye to cricket at the end of series against Australia. Ganguly said he has already conveyed his decision to selectors and his team mates. “I want to leave on a winning note”, said Sourav.

Before the selection for the Australia series, the media speculated that he would be given a deal by the selectors and would announce his retirement from cricket after the Australia series. According to sources, selectors wanted to give all seniors a dignified exit and Ganguly’s selection in the test squad was part of that plan.

Sourav Ganguly played 109 tests for India and scored 6,888 runs at an average of 41.74. He scored 15 centuries in test cricket. Ganguly’s ODI record was illustrious, as he scored 11,363 runs in 311 matches at an average of 41.02. He scored 22 centuries in ODIs. Ganguly will play four more tests against Australia before calling it a day. Sourav, who was chosed as ‘Bengali No. 1″ in a CNN-IBN poll yesterday, chose the auspicious day of “Durga Ashtami” to announce his retirement from cricket.

Enemies of India

(1) Pseudo-secular Hindus (these are the worst enemies, most of the Hindu politicians and their supporters fall into this categories)

(2) Communists

(3) Christians

(4) Muslims

(5) Congress.

==================================================================
Jayanthi Natarajan joined Congress (I) during the 1980’s.

During the 1990’s, she defected to the Tamil Manila Congress (TMC) founded by G. K. Moopanar. She made several anti-Congress(I) remarks during that period. She shamelessly continued to be an MP of Rajya Sabha on Congress(I) ticket. Congress(I) threatened her with disqualification. Then she resigned from Rajya Sabha.

She was even a minister in the United Front government.

After the death of G. K. Moopanar, she jumped back to Congress(I).

There are several stories about her. It would be improper to write about them here.

She is one of the most unscrupulous politicians in India.

She is fit for ban from Indian politics for all the disservice she did to the people of India.

==================================================================

Congress party is fit for ban.
Congress party is the most anti-Indian party.
Congress leaders are most corrupt and most unpatriotic people in the country.
Congress party has been systematically ruining our country.
Congress is the most COMMUNAL party in the country.

Indira Gandhi imposed emergency on this country.

Rajiv Gandhi (Gandu) reversed Shah Bano judgment of Supreme Court for his minority appeasement politics.

Manmohan Singh said Muslims have first right on country’s resources and he introduced 27% OBC quota. Several Congress state governments provided reservations for Muslims. Manmohan shamelessly says both India and Pakistan are victims of terror.

So far, Congress did not hang Afzal Guru, the terrorist who attacked the Parliament of India.

Several times, the Congess party bribed the Members of Parliament to stay in power at the centre.

Several times, the Congress party at the centre dismissed the non-Congress state governments by fraudulently imposing Article 356 on them.

Congress party indulged in pseudo-secular politics and destroyed the secularism of this country.

Congress party is anti-Hindu, pro-Islam and pro-Christian. Congress party is appeasing minorities and destroying the majority community. Congress is practicing divide and rule policy of Britishers in a much worse way.

Ban Congress party, the dirtiest political party on this planet.

==================================================================

Y. Samuel Rajasekhara Reddy, the Christian Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, provided 4% reservation to Muslims.

He announced Holy Trip package to Christians on the lines of Haj pilgrimage of Muslims, so that the Christians can visit their holy places.

He also promised land for churches in every village in Andhra Pradesh, Rs. 5 lakhs monetary assistance for churches and free land for Christian pastors.

There is also a proposal to provide reservation for Christians.

Many Christians don’t reveal their true religion, while applying for jobs. They pretend to be Hindu SC and ST and steal the jobs that must normally go to Hindu SC and ST candidates.

==================================================================

Christianity made you into an outstanding scoundrel and you believe all the lies spread by the Britishers and the cunning Christian missionaries.

Shame on you!

They successfully killed your soul.

A dead Christian soul!

==================================================================

This kind of pseudo secularist tripe is not going to quell Hindu anger. Wherever we see, it is these other agents provoking the Hindus. Whether it is amarnath, ram setu, paininting of nude hindu deilties by a muslim, outright abuse of hindu gods by christian missionaries, killing of a swami or the king of them all, burning alive hindus in a train. this in a hindu majority country. and yet we have this pseudo scularist brigade trying desperately to equate hindu reaction to christian and muslim terrorists. why is there any doubt that this is a hindu country. the fathers of christian sit in france and make noises when christians cry foul, pakistan openly talks about indian muslims, but where is the hindu to go?

unless the borrowed and useless secularism of the west, which is built on basic christian values is replaced by a secularism that primarily respects hindu values, things will only get worse. cant b raman and his tribe see that?

==================================================================
the author conveneintly did not touch much on conversions.apart from this the chieftain of the christianity opened up a challenge when he was on government visit to india that he will see to it that the entire asia is being converted into christianity.when Mr.Raman writes so many things he conveniently forgets about the cause.the effect simply follows every cause.because of the idiotic meaning taken by the government (specifically the congress governemernt) that secularism means anti Hindu every ,comer to India tries to attempt harming Hindus and Hinduism. the government because of its anti hindu and the so called secularism will not come to the rescue of hindus and what is the way out.so only this vhp and bajrang dhall are to be encouraged by Hindus. let the govvernment take a true secular stand.let it punishes the culprits right from the beginning for the bombing, parliamnet attack. godhra train fire, attacks on kashmiri pandits and also let it stop the conversion of Hindus by the other religions , let it stop encouraging illegal migrants to india , let it deport all the foreign nationals living in India without naturalisaation etc etc.
when these much of problems were accumulated by the congress government with dishonest motives and iancation on vital points this government does not have any proprietory right to ask for explanation from orissa and karnataka governments for the violences erupted in the states.
It shpould explain to the world in an appealing way
==================================================================
Christians do not allow Dalit Christians into several churches all over India.

Dalit Christians are not allowed to bury their dead in the Christian burial grounds in Tamil Nadu.

==================================================================
Congress (UPA) govt is an anti-national party that works against the interest of majority to appease the minority. The news spread by media is so biased and misreported that it blows things completely out of proportion. If one church is attacked in retaliation to the misdeeds of the unscrupulous missionaries (which include abusing native religion, desecrating places of worship by denigrating other’s faith), it is portrayed as if thousands were attacked and killed…why…the Vatican is silently supporting this impious propaganda against ‘hindus’ (followers of sanatana dharma) just b’coz they cannot outweigh their faith with ours on merit…that is why they downplay the importance of native religion to brainwash the natives from following their faith and converting to a fake religion emanating from the mind of the hyper-excited white man. Recently Karan Thapar’s interview on CNBC was so biased against hindus and supportive of Christians (with Mr Beggar – Alyque Padamsee squealing and bawling “Christians were the ones who gave us education!!”). Such is the state of media in independent Bharat!! What can be said o freedom…our freedom fighters must be lamenting for having foregone their lives to free us from the clutches of white man just to see us returning to the same fold through thw white mans tactics (enforced religion and consequent treason to State)!!

==================================================================
Muslims and Christians have no tolerence. They are brutal, I am not telling this history clearly tells….crusades and jihad.

they never accepts any other religion.
narrow minded people…..kuvve ki mendak jaisa.

The bailout package failed to revive the mood in American market, as the Dow Jones shed 800 points to fall below 10,000-mark for the first time since 2004. While the European markets struggle to cope up with the credit crunch, the fall in US market, deepened the global financial crisis. The Dow Jones finally closed at 9,955 at the end of Monday’s trading.

The recession fears are now looming large, as the markets across the world are going down.

The US, European countries and Asian countries such as India and Japan are feeling the heat of credit crunch. The Federal Reserve (Fed) tried to revive the financial stability in the US market by increasing the amount of short-term lending money to $600 billion, but in vain.

In a major breakthrough in the sensational Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati murder case, the Orissa CID arrested three Christian Maoists from Baliguda block. They were allegedly involved in the murder of Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati on August 23. The arrested persons were Duryodhan Sunamajhi, Munda Badamajhi and Sanatana Badamajhi.

According to CID sources, at least 18 Christian Maoists were involved in the murder of Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati at the Jalespeta Ashram. These arrested people were among those who launched an attack on Swami Laxmanananda on that fateful day. Some guns and masks were recovered from the arrested Maoists.

The latest development almost confirmed a “nexus” between the Maoists and Christian Missionaries and there is no doubt that a large number of Christians have joined the naxal groups. The Christian-run NGOs and Churches could have been a funding source for the Maoists. Such speculations are on the rise, as top Maoist leader Sabyasachi Panda tried in desperation to own up responsibility for Swami Laxmanananda Saraswati’s killing. Mr. Panda had reportedly admitted that Maoist groups in Orissa always received support from Christian groups.

“It is a fact that Christians form the majority in our organisation. Our supporters in Rayagada, Gajapati and Kandhamal also belonged to the Christian community,” said Sabyasachi Panda during his interview to some correspondents in a recent interview. Laxmanananda Saraswati was killed, as he did not stop his movements against religious conversion and cow slaughter.
